Eero Järnefelt: From Koli Fell

To me the sun is the main character because the sun is creating different shadows, highlights, colors. I would not be able to place this at all. I have never seen trees like that before. So to me this is a kind of wonderland or part of someone´s imagination because it is so beautiful and exotic to me.

When I first saw it, it just reminded of Prince Islands in Istanbul. Of course it´s not because I can see that there are lakes not sea. But it reminded me that you need to climb so much to reach this beauty.
